Raj Ghosh, Ph.D.

Dr. Raj Ghosh is an energy and environmental consultant. He has extensive experience in consulting with government and corporate clients, regulatory agencies, and international funding agencies. He studied Chemistry at IIT, Kharagpur and obtained a Ph.D. in Environmental Chemistry from the Jawaharlal Nehru University, New Delhi. At present he is pursuing an M.Eng, in Clean Energy Engineering from the University of British Columbia.

Dr. Ghosh has served Consulting Engineering Services, New Delhi, Levelton Consultants Limited, Vancouver and Intercontinental Consultants and Technocrats, New Delhi. His recent climate related experience includes technology assessment for bio-energy projects, GHG policy and regulatory support to a mining industry association, GHG emissions reduction strategies for an international airport, and National Pollutants Release Inventory (NPRI) reporting for oil and gas terminals.

Dr. Ghosh, LEED®AP, PMP is a Salzburg Global Seminar Fellow with special interest in Global Energy Issues, Asian Development and International Responses.
